I took some grief this week for referring to Yeshua Ha Mashiach as “my possibly imaginary Friend.”
Make that a lot of grief.
What if I just called Him “Wonderful.”
THAT’s in the collection of ancient books that some, including me, call The Holy Bible.
Is THAT better?
I was also called “egotistical.”
OK, but who isn’t?
“Crazy.”
Again.
“Someone to be avoided.”
Ow! That hurt.
I was VERY depressed on Monday night after these painful offerings from a well-meaning friend.
Thank God, my possibly imaginary Friend orchestrated things so that I would be GREATLY encouraged the very next morning by other equally well-meaning friends!
[And as an aside here, all of this unnecessary confusion could easily be cleared up by a more careful reading of the posts on this blog, ya know. Just sayin’.]
Wanna know what The Happy Narcissist believes, People?
Here it is in one place where everyone can easily find it
in creed,
picture,
and
song.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His Only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again.
He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the Right Hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the Communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
